Meet four of our Summer Team Members:

To fulfill our goal of providing a top-quality program, we are hiring over 85 passionate, dependable and compassionate summer team members! So you will have plenty of people to partner with in prayer! Below, four of our upcoming summer team members share a bit about themselves.

    (1) SIERRA:
“Hi! I’m excited to return for my fourth summer at Spruce Lake. I’m currently studying Criminal Justice and Biblical Studies at Lancaster Bible College. Camp holds a special place in my heart, and I’ve been impacted by the way the Lord has worked in my life through my experiences at Spruce Lake. I absolutely love the outdoors and exploring God’s creation.

I’m involved in leadership roles on campus, and I’m passionate about discipleship and mentoring my peers. Living in Christian community and fellowship is a huge part of my life, as it strengthens my faith and helps me enourage others to grow in their walk with Christ. I’d appreciate prayers for endurance and motivation in my walk with the Lord this summer. Also pray for strength, health, and my ability to speak truth to our campers and staff.”

    (2) MIA:
“This is my sixth summer at Spruce Lake! I am so excited to work with this ministry again as the Marketing Intern at the Retreat Center. One of my passions is event planning, and as we work a lot to serve our guests well, I ask for prayers for strength to continuously work excellently in all I do, as unto the Lord.

Since I am graduating from Liberty University this May, 2025, I’m really focused on where I’ll end up after summer! Please pray that the Lord would guide my every step and open or close doors so His will  be done in my life.”

    (3) RUTH:
“Hi! I’m Ruth or Ruthie, and I am a junior in high school (The Stony Brook School in Long Island, NY). I love animals, meeting new people, and having fun – plus sports and music! I will be a lifeguard on the Pinebrook Summer Team. A specific prayer request I have is for better relationships with my family. Thank you so much for praying for me!”

    (4) AARON:
“Hi! I’ll be working at Spruce Lake this summer, at overnight Wilderness Camp and at Day Camp. I’m in high school now, and am so excited to get to work at Spruce Lake! I really enjoy creativity in all its forms; it’s a great way to honor and come closer to the beautiful creation that exists in what God has made in us and around us. I find fascination and joy in seeing God’s amazing creation and learning about it. I love fun facts about animals, plants, and our world in general.

Pray that I’ll have strength for challenges that are put in my way, and be able to follow the narrow path that brings great freedom through God. Pray that I will move when and to where God calls, and not grow deaf to his call.”

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” – Ephesians 6:18-19
