Navigator camps are a place for high school-age campers to enjoy positive relationships while exploring issues of life, relationships and faith. A casual-dress theme dinner, special entertainment and options for off-site activities all provide a unique atmosphere for our senior high campers.  There will even be aged specific activities featuring events for campers who are 16 and up or have graduated 10th grade. As always, these weeks include fresh Fireside messages and vibrant worship but this year we will add elective break out sessions with topics like conflict resolution, integrity in relationships, and practicing spiritual disciplines.  Activities like "Mission Impossible," and rec hour will be present but often will have alternative activities provided.  As an individual, you'll have plenty of opportunities to craft your own week, choosing from the NEW Specialty Tracks, unique electives like slacklining and touch football, break out sessions, adventure programming (high ropes, vertical playpen) and more.

Speciality Tracks

Advanced Archery Track, 2 U-Pick-It periods (2 hours each), $20
The course is will teach bow tuning, use of sights, advanced shooting techniques all designed to introduce you to the international sport while improving your ability to hit the target time after time. The instructor is a former Olympic hopeful, Alex Ferrer.
Adventure Mania Track, 3 U-Pick-It periods (2 hours each), $30
Experience three of Spruce Lake's favorite adventure program activities instead of 1.  Adventurer’s track includes Challenge Course, Vertical Playpen and Cliff Rappelling.  Navigator’s track includes Challenge Course, Vertical Playpen, and Outdoor High Ropes.
Treasure Hunter Track, 2 U-Pick-It periods (2 Hours each), $20
Learn how to map read and use a GPS unit to navigate various terrains, set bread crumbs, and locate waypoints.  Enjoy the challenge hiding and finding hidden caches as you are introduced to the sport of Geocaching (www.geocaching.com).
Mountain Biking Track, 2 U-Pick-It periods (2 Hours each), $30
Cover ground at Spruce Lake on our brand new fleet of aluminum frame Giant Mountain Bikes.  This track teaches mountain biking basics such as bike and helmet fitting, shifting and gear use, braking techniques, riding techniques, and handling terrain.
