Carol Cottage lends a pleasant, natural ambiance in its location at the wood's edge near Lakeview Program Center. Renovations in Spring, 2009, will restore original appeal to one of our oldest lodges. Eleven private rooms each have one queen bed and at least another double or single. An interesting side note ... Carol Cottage is named in honor of Carol Dalton, the handicapped daughter of Fred (Fritz) Dalton, who once owned what is now Spruce Lake's property. Prior to 1963 and Spruce Lake's purchase, this retreat center had operated as Linn Lake Lodge.
